To get photos published its often about shooting the right person and not just taking the best picture. Sad but true. Obviously, the picture has to be great as well, but I have better pictures that haven’t been published compared to the pics that made it to print, partly because the person was well known.

"If your having trouble getting your images sharply in focus, try the manual focus technique. See where the rider is going to be at the point you want to take the picture.
