I bought the Markhof Pro 2 last week. Although it is uneasily to say what it is mid winter, what glowes are recommended for, it was good choice. 6 hours out, temperature 1 to 8 below zero. I was satisfied all time.
Didn’t have any possibility to try it on yet, cause it was not very cold in my country. But the gloves are great!
I did not receive item Got a full refund though and was told before other items was shipped.
When I read that these little sachets can produce heat for up to 10 hours I was more than a little sceptical, however They really so work and in conjunction with the gloves keep your hands nice and toasty for hours.
The little miracle-makers they are :) Happy to hear you're loving this new discovery :) cheers Roger!
I have received the gloves after having had an exchange from medium to large. They now fit great and I'm confident that they will also be great with the touch liners that I purchased. My only problem is that it really is much too early to give a fair review as it is now the middle of summer, therefore cannot comment on the thermal qualities of the gloves at this time. I am 69 years old and suffer greatly from cold hands when out and about taking photos in winter.
But what I can say is the the gloves are or at least feel great to wear, The zipped pocket on the back of the gloves is a nice addition to include hand warmers "yet to be tested" and I'm more happy with the quality of the gloves. The fabric on the palms of the gloves makes for secure grip on your camera, and to be honest, I can't wait to try these gloves out in winter.
I am an old guy and I do suffer from the cold, so if I find myself needing extra warmth, I shall probably order your winter mitts.
Also, the magnetic flip up index finger and thumb feature is, I feel, a must for any photography glove and I think this is one of the strongest features of the Vallerret gloves.
Hope this helps, will need to update in the winter months.
Hi Ian! Thanks for taking the time for writing the review, much appreciated! Really happy you like the design and quality of the gloves - we strive for the best! Happy winter shooting (soon ;)) and toasty warm hands!

Please note, our gloves are designed to fit snuggly to give you the best camera feel without compromising on warmth. If you prefer a looser fit, please consider to go a size up.
As we learn more and more about gloves we also learn that all hands are different. Some people have long skinny fingers and slim wrists, others have wide hands with short fingers.
Our gloves wont fit all even with the right measurements from the sizing chart – but we try!
For many, the best option will be to go up a size if your measurements are in between sizes.
If you are between sizes or if your hands do not fit into the measurements on our sizing chart, we recommend prioritizing the fit for the girth measurement. The girth is the most important measurement and if the girth size on the glove is too small, you won't be able to fit the glove.
If you’re considering pairing a liner glove with your photography gloves, we recommend choosing the same size liner as photography glove. We designed our liners to be thin and fit inside of our photography gloves so we recommend your normal size in liners. There are two exceptions to this:
Exception #1: If you are at the very end of the ratio size in the sizing chart, e.g. 1 mm from being a size Large, then we advise going up a glove size if you plan to often wear the liner with the gloves.
Exception #2: If your personal preference is to wear fairly loose gloves, then you should also go up a size when adding a liner. We don't recommend this as you will compromise dexterity with loose gloves and our priority is best possible camera feel. But you know best what you like!
House tip: Make sure to choose a liner size that is snug/tight on your hand for the best Fliptech performance when wearing liners and gloves together.
