"This course helped understand new ways of improving my winter photography. I enjoyed the full manual shoot video. Things I never thought to consider when shooting manually."

There’s a certain amount of strength, both mental and physical, required for climbing a mountain. When you have your eyes set on the peak, you know you’re likely to encounter difficulties along the way. You know the path won’t always be easy or obvious but if you persist, the view from the top will always be worth it.
“Tinden” is the Norwegian word for “the mountain peak” and when we were conceptualizing this glove, we wanted to create a heavy duty glove that would hold up for those deep, dark winter days when the journey might not always be easy, but the end is always worth it.
The Tinden Photography Glove has taken everything we love about the Ipsoot Photography Glove, combined this with customer feedback and request from fellow photographers - and voila! Here is our new Deep Winter glove favourite.
The Tinden is the perfect glove for days when the snow is dumping and you have a long day of shooting ahead. This glove will be your perfect mountain companion and will provide protection from the elements when you need it the most.
The insulation is the what makes this gloves so bomber in cold weather. The Tinden has a 100% merino wool inner as well as Primaloft Gold Insulation, a 260gsm insulation layer on the back of the hand and 170gsm on the palm, ensuring that your hands stay toasty warm all day. In addition, the overlapping FlipTech finger caps help keep moisture and cold air out while still allowing you to flip them back and shoot in seconds.
When we design our gloves, we are always thinking of ways to give them that extra "umph" that make our gloves stand out. One of the features you will spot across our glove range is that we use unique prints for our Non-slip Grip based on a real image from a photographer we admire.
The print on the Tinden is based on a stunning image of Arctic Norway from our ambassador Christian Hoiberg.

Night photography means different things to different people. Photographing by starlight in nature and photographing cities at night more or less represent either end of the spectrum of possibilities. There are lots of other scenarios that fall within the realm of night photography, such as auroras, moonlight, and light painting.
Each situation calls for a slightly different approach, but there are some basic settings and procedures that are relevant for almost any nighttime situation. Some are fairly obvious, and some require testing and adjustments based on your specific gear and goals.
For the purpose of this article, we’ll consider optimal image quality to be of utmost importance.
