Milford Sound is one of New Zealand’s most stunning natural beauties. Located in the southwest corner of the South Island of New Zealand, Milford Sound is the perfect combination of dense forest, towering fjords and vibrant wildlife.
Oh, and rain. Lots and lots of rain.
As winter lovers, we believe all winter weather is awesome, even wet and damp conditions and for years, we have been working to make a glove that will be a great companion for those who know that the secret beauty of winter often lies in a rainstorm.
Named after Milford Sound in New Zealand, our new Milford Photography Glove is a 2-in-1 windproof fleece glove with a rain cover that will keep you warm and dry in mild winter conditions.
This is the very first Vallerret glove where both the thumb, index and middle finger have an overlapping flip-tech opening, giving you even more control of your settings.
The rain cover is stored in the pocket of the fleece glove so when the waterworks start, pull the cover from the pocket and slip on the rain cover for protection against the moisture.
Made from vegan friendly materials, the Milford glove will be your #1 choice for the classically beautiful (and often very wet!) locations such as Iceland, Scotland, Norway and the sounds of New Zealand.
When we design our gloves, we are always thinking of ways to give them that extra "umph" that make our gloves stand out. One of the features you will spot across our glove range is that we use unique palm prints for our Non-slip Grip based on a real image from a photographer we admire.
The palm print Milford is based on a stunning image of majestic Milford Sound in New Zealand from our ambassador Nico Babot.
