FIND YOUR SIZE:
PEASE NOTE: We design our gloves to be snug for best camera feel possible. This sizing chart reflects snuggly fitted gloves.
Please note, our gloves are designed to fit snuggly to give you the best camera feel without compromising on warmth. If you prefer a looser fit, please consider to go a size up.
As we learn more and more about gloves we also learn that all hands are different. Some people have long skinny fingers and slim wrists, others have wide hands with short fingers.
Our gloves wont fit all even with the right measurements from the sizing chart – but we try!
For many, the best option will be to go up a size if your measurements are in between sizes.
If you are between sizes or if your hands do not fit into the measurements on our sizing chart, we recommend prioritizing the fit for the girth measurement. The girth is the most important measurement and if the girth size on the glove is too small, you won't be able to fit the glove.
If you’re considering pairing a liner glove with your photography gloves, we recommend choosing the same size liner as photography glove. We designed our liners to be thin and fit inside of our photography gloves so we recommend your normal size in liners. There are two exceptions to this:
Exception #1: If you are at the very end of the ratio size in the sizing chart, e.g. 1 mm from being a size Large, then we advise going up a glove size if you plan to often wear the liner with the gloves.
Exception #2: If your personal preference is to wear fairly loose gloves, then you should also go up a size when adding a liner. We don't recommend this as you will compromise dexterity with loose gloves and our priority is best possible camera feel. But you know best what you like!
House tip: Make sure to choose a liner size that is snug/tight on your hand for the best Fliptech performance when wearing liners and gloves together.

Skadi Zipper Mitt PSP
Can’t wait to use them. The best feature is that these are sized - no more floppy and ill fitting gloves and they come with wrist straps! Definitely great quality and will keep my fingers warm in the winter.
That said there are a few design improvements that could be made. The zipper could open more (be longer and may need zipper pulls)) too free up the fingers more, the snap back and magnetic hold features are a bit finicky, and the palm of the inner glove could use a no-slip grip. May preference is for more of an over mitt than a knitted cuff. But these are the picky things. I'll let you know after I can truly field tests these in December!
Thanks for taking the time to leave feedback :D Much appreciated!
I'm sure you'll love your mittens in action - happy winter shooting!
I took the plunge and bought a pair of Skadi Zipper Mitt”s in readiness for the winter here in the UK. I will leave a full review at the end of our winter when I will know how they perform. But for now I would like to say that I am very happy with the communication between the company and myself. The gloves are , as you would expect for gloves of this price range, very well made and feel very comfortable.
They are not bulky on my hands when holding a Canon 7d mk 2 and 100-400 l lens. With the outer glove folded down and clipped back with the magnets , all of the controls are reached with ease. The inner gloves work well when using the touch screen on my phone with no problems that I can see. My hand size was on the border between one size and the next, so I opted for the larger size and glad I did. Finally living in the UK I thought I may have had to pay import duty when they arrived but to my surprise I did not. Final thoughts If you live in the UK and want a good quality glove for our comparatively mild winters compared to Norway, You won’t do better. Happy snapping . Ray Thompson
Hi Ray! Thrilled to hear you're loving your Skadi gloves!
Can't wait to hear your winter photo stories at the end of the season :D
The mitts are perfect, a really good product, but take care if you are ordering from the UK. I ordered two pairs together to save on postage not realising that there would be extra tax payments payable to the courier as it took the value of the package over £135. The Brexit effect! If I had known I would have ordered them separately and avoided the extra £67 charge.
