The quality and materials of these mitts is great. They work much better than taking mitts off and risking snow and ice getting inside of them. In very windy and extreme winter weather they are a bit drafty at the zipper and fold back, but that is only in the most extreme scenarios. They are a huge upgrade to my comfort when shooting in the cold.

I choose the Skadi mittens/gloves because I wanted something to fend off Raynaud’s Disease and they haven’t disappointed, my hands were very warm. Excellent product.

These gloves have been a game changer for me, a really good design that allows me to use a broadcast ENG camera while still keeping my hands as warm as possible. Ive never seen anything come close to the quality and usability.

Ideal for the winter, keep very nice and warm and the liners can be used very well alone. No cold fingers even if you take pictures, because the fingers are still protected by the liner. Zipper opening should be further if you photograph from your hand, therefore a little more unwieldy than from the tripod. Liners have very good rubber inserts for safe camera hold.

The outer gloves are very good, but the inside gloves are very fragile after barely one week of use the leatherette at the tip of the right index is coming off. I am quite disappointed
Also it might be a good idea to place the warmer pouch on the top closer to the fingertips on the outside glove
