The above sizes should enable you the best camera feel without compromising on warmth.
As we learn more and more about gloves we also learn that all hands are different. Some people have long skinny fingers and slim wrists, others have wide hands with short fingers.
Our gloves wont fit all even with the right measurements from the sizing chart – but we try!
For many, the best option will be to go up a size if your measurements are in between sizes.
If you are between sizes or if your hands do not fit into the measurements on our sizing chart, we recommend prioritizing the fit for the girth measurement. The girth is the most important measurement and if the girth size on the glove is too small, you won't be able to fit the glove.
If you’re considering pairing a liner glove with your photography gloves, we recommend choosing the same size liner as photography glove. We designed our liners to be thin and fit inside of our photography gloves so we recommend your normal size in liners. There are two exceptions to this:
Exception #1: If you are at the very end of the ratio size in the sizing chart, e.g. 1 mm from being a size Large, then we advise going up a glove size if you plan to often wear the liner with the gloves.
Exception #2: If your personal preference is to wear fairly loose gloves, then you should also go up a size when adding a liner. We don't recommend this as you will compromise dexterity with loose gloves and our priority is best possible camera feel. But you know best what you like!
House tip: Make sure to choose a liner size that is snug/tight on your hand for the best Fliptech performance when wearing liners and gloves together.

Ensures a fitted and warm glove optimized for photography with all the performance benefits of Merino Wool: Moisture wicking, anti-odor, soft and warm.
I ordered the Djuke gloves because I wanted a glove that did double duty: an everyday glove for around town and a photography glove. The Djuke gloves meet both my needs.
Features-wise, they work great. The magnets are strong enough to keep the finger caps out of the way. The capacitance touch also works well for using a phone or my car’s touchscreen (works on my camera’s touchscreen too, but the LCD buttons are too small to select). The merino wool keeps my hands warm down to about 25 degrees Fahrenheit/4 degrees Celsius, even with the finger caps off while I’m shooting (on windier or colder days, the caps stay off just long enough for the shot). The leather feels soft out of the box; this allows for a lot of flexibility in the glove. I keep the cuffs at the wider setting, making it easier for me to pull the gloves on and off. I’m able to use these with a Peak Design Clutch attached to my camera. By the way, I’m not a fan of the cold, and the Djuke gloves keep my hands warm while doing urban, street, and nature photography.
I noticed that the gloves feel slick when driving; my steering wheel is also leather-wrapped. A recent application of leather conditioner seemed to help add some tackiness, but I’m not sure if this is the glove or the steering wheel. This has not been an issue when using the gloves for photography, though.
I initially ordered a pair in XL, based on the same size Markhof V2 that I purchased the prior year. The Djuke XL were just a bit tight, so I exchanged them for XXL right before Christmas (Dec 23). Denisa was absolutely fantastic and helpful throughout the entire exchange process. I had the new gloves on Dec 30, during the busiest shipping time of the year. Denisa demonstrated first class customer service!

Highly recommended!
Thanks for your review! Enjoy your gloves and happy winter shooting :)
The Vallerret Djuke's with their finger and thumb features are perfect for shooting in cooler temperatures. The gloves keep the wind out and work well to keep your pinkies warm. They aren't super warm but they do offer a good balance of dexterity and protection against the cold. I'm considering a liner glove if the temperatures drop really cold. Fit is good, they're comfortable, easy to use and appear to be well made so I have no hesitation recommended them.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review for our Djuke Photography Gloves. We're thrilled to hear that they have been essential for your photography needs and that you find them comfortable. If you'd like a couple of degrees of extra warmth, you can check out our Power Stretch Pro Liner as a first layer option. Thank you for recommending our product and happy shooting!
Djuke Photography Glove
Warm and comfortable
Finally socks that keep my feet warm. I have cold feet very fast. These socks really make a difference for me. They are also comfortable and soft. No itchy feeling or what so ever.
I used the gloves on a trip to Norway and they were super comfortable to wear. I ve put some hand warmers in the small pockets to get even more warmth to my fingers. The system with the zipper worked very well for me giving me the freedom that I need to take photos without frozen hands.
