We design gloves for all winter conditions and all gloves come with a rating from Light Winter to Arctic Winter conditions (rating is specified on Glove Hang Tag).

Ask the customer the following 2 questions:

• Where are you going for your Photography trip (e.g. UK or Antarctica)?
• What will you be shooting? (Will the customer be sitting still or running around?)

These factors will determine how much protection your customer will need against the elements. Another good question to ask is about the type of clothing they are planning to be wearing, and match that level of clothing with a glove thickness.

Most of our gloves have a snug fit. We have unisex gloves and one women’s model (Saga) with its own sizing chart.

Founder’s note: Markhof V3 and Saga are great everyday gloves for most winter days. Personally comfortable down to −3/−5°C, though others report to use the Markhof down to −12 °C.
Everyone has a differrent tolerance to the cold, which is why we don't state the temperature on our gloves and instead use Mild to Arctic winter condition ratings.

If your customer tends to get cold easily, consider recomending the deep winter glove range.

Usually, keep the same size liner as glove. Exceptions: if you’re at the upper end of the size chart, or if the customer prefers loose gloves. Best dexterity comes with a snug fit.

No — the small magnets won’t affect modern cameras, lenses, flashes, smartphones, or laptops. They may affect compasses or very old spinning hard drives. Pacemakers: consult a physician if concerned.

Thumb length and knuckle hinge position can affect magnet overlap. Ensure the magnets align when they are folded back.

Screen protectors and very low temperatures can reduce conductivity. A defective touch fabric is different; if so, please contact support.
