Covid-19 is at the forefront of everyone’s mind with the effects being felt around the globe and our thoughts go out to everyone who has been affected by the impact of COVID-19. As we carefully monitor the rapidly changing developments regarding coronavirus (COVID-19), we are writing to share the actions Vallerret is taking to protect our community.

One of the most effective mitigation techniques recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) is social distancing. Because our staff at Vallerret already work remotely, we are planning to continue business as usual for as long conditions allow. We are encouraging all remote staff to practice social distancing in their communities to help flatten the curve of Covid-19 cases.

We are in constant communication with our shipping warehouses and will support their business decisions as conditions change. As of now, our shipping warehouses remain open and your orders will continue to be shipped as normal. In Europe, all parcels are being required to be sent by truck instead of planes so if you are waiting for an international order, please be aware there may be delays for countries that are far from our fulfilment centre in the Netherlands.

We encourage our community to take the extra precautions necessary to safeguard your health and the health of those around you. Please refer to your community’s health officials and follow the steps recommended by them. If you need additional resources, please visit the World Health Organization’s website at www.who.int. We can all take steps to minimize the effect this infection has on our communities so we encourage you to be diligent and work to protect those who are more vulnerable during this outbreak.

We will continue to keep you informed as information unfolds. You have our promise that we are doing all we can in this unprecedented situation and we thank you for your continued support and understanding as we work through this together over the coming weeks.

Stay safe and look after each other.

-Team Vallerret
