Located in the Italian side of Mt Blanc, Courmayeur has been running “click on the mountain” for the past 9 years. A rider invited filming and photo competition, a team of 3 riders, 1 filmer and 1 photographer have a week to put together an adventure film ticking all the boxes of certain categories and battle off for a tasty prize of 5000 euro’s, not to mention getting heli time and accessing some outstanding terrain.

Layering works as 3 main levels; Your base layer, Middle layer/insulation layer and outer layer. What do we mean by layering? Simply put, it is placing clothes over your clothes to stay warm. Just like putting a jersey on when it cold or a rain jacket on when it rains.

The meteor shower happens every August. This August the show was extra good with up to 200 meteors every hour instead of the usual 80-100. The short of it is; There is a comet circling through our solar system leaving behind a dust trail, and every year at the same time, earth’s orbit enters into this dust trail where low and behold, the night sky erupts.
