WHO IS JOANA?
Joana Braga is a Portugal-born filmmaker and professional FPV drone pilot based in Iceland, working at the intersection of speed, precision, and cinematic storytelling. With a background in industrial and transportation design, Joana is pairing engineering mindset with bold visual intuition.
Now flying year-round in Iceland’s unforgiving conditions, Joana specialises in high-energy (and often high-octane) FPV drone cinematography for action sports, sports cars, brands, and storytelling-driven projects. Wind, cold, rain, and fast-changing weather are part of her daily workflow, environments where preparation, dexterity, and reliability are non-negotiable.

Driven by curiosity and a refusal to accept limits, Joana is also a strong voice for diversity in drone filmmaking, encouraging more women to step into a field traditionally dominated by men. Her work reflects motion, emotion, and the raw connection between humans, machines, and nature.
JOANA’S FAVOURITE GLOVE
“When flying FPV in Iceland, I need gloves that keep my hands warm without killing precision. Setup, tuning, battery swaps and long days outside demand dexterity as much as protection. The Markhof Pro V3 is my favoritem but the new Saga Women's Glove with its female sizing is warmer and a great fit for my smaller hands. Being able to keep my gloves on means I stay focused on the flight, not the cold.” - Joana
