Living in Spain we really feel the cold when it comes to snow and sub freezing temperatures. This is what we faced photographing in the Swiss Alps and Germany’s highest mountain the ZugSPitze. Equiped with a Morino base layer, woollen hat, neck warmer, photography gloves and liners it was a little too warm with the other layers I had on. I probably just needed one other layer to keep warm. I will get it right next time though.
I photograph a lot during more extreme circumstances. Like rainstorms at the beach in the Netherlands, but also at waterfalls in Iceland. And they produce a lot of water! ;-) I hate cold hands, but with normal gloves they are getting soaked. That's why the Milford gloves are perfect for this situations! I can put on fast the rain sleeve over the fleece glove. Perfection solution for the wet moments!
These gloves are high quality. They don't only look good, but they also wear good. They keep my hands warm in the colder days and I am still able to use my camera. I use Vallerret gloves already for years and I am still very happy with them!
