gloves very cumbersome with the mitts closed , but warm.
Difficult for camera functions Nixon 850. When fingers are expos posed the liners were not heavy, and my fingers were cold very quickly. The liners were just to thin with little or no protection from the weather.
I purchased the Skadi Zipper Mitt last year. The concept and quality is very good. What prevents me from rating them more than 3 stars is the zippers. They are very difficult to zipper shut unless you remove them or use your teeth. Too bad. They just sit in a drawer. I purchased Freehands finger mittens. Not the same, but no struggles.
would have been 5 stars if their fingered gloves could have easily fit inside. It is warm with the liner but on really cold days my fingers still get cold, will have to try hand warmers with it and the included liners. Very happy with them. They would be even more versatile if the thumb was a bit wider to easily accommodate one of your fingered gloves inside for extra warmth
Got the sizing wrong initially, but a new version was sent as a replacement and thy're amazing. Despite the price, I can't recommend this product enough to people.
I got this glove on September 16 and used them for hiking 17 km up to Mount Robson, BC, Canada. On September 22-25. The first day I was hiking in the rain and cold, the weather around -4 to 0c degrees. And another day the temperature around -8 to -4c.
The mitts are a great design for the photographer but the lining is to thin and easy to tear off from my finger after a matter of second-day used, and another finger split out on third-day too. Open the zipper is good, however hard to close them, you need to use your teeth to close it. And the liner gloves do not easy to touchscreens on the camera or the cellphone.
My fingertips hurt in both hands. Due to the cold weather causing the blood to not circulate. And the blood clotting purple to the fingertips. I can't rotate the dial to control a camera or press a button to take a picture because of it to pain. And I got pain around 7 days.
After hiking, I had to go to the store to buy an icebreaker lining for replacement, because I have to go camping at Mount Assiniboine two nights more it work great. I was disappointed with the expensive glove. This glove is good for the temperature around 0c degree up can't not warm under minus.
