A heavier duty photography glove, providing extra protection against the elements
Would recommend getting a size up from what you expect. I ordered a small based on the measurements, but when i put the gloves on, the circulation to my fingers was being cut off. Exchanged for a larger size which was pretty easy no hassle involved.
Happy to help and happy you like the gloves overall :) Happy winter shooting!
These gloves must be classed as the best in the world, they are super warm in biting icy conditions we can get here in England in the mountains, moors and coastal locations.
Now on cold mornings I don't have to take off my gloves to set my camera or take a picture, the fold back tips snap into place with the magnets when folded back, and when in place do not let in the cold.
They are also very practical with the little pocket and tripod key, also useful for storing SD cards.
The service from Vallerret is excellent, I had to delay delivery by one day because it was so fast, I didn't expect them to arrive so quickly from Norway.
Thank you Vallerret for excellent gloves and service.
The gloves are ok and feel warm. The flip finger caps are not that comfortable when closed but ok when open to operate the camera. My biggest concern was the size, chosen following their size chart I could barely fit my hands in it and rcouldn't close my fist. I was lucky enough that a a close friend of mine had recently bought a bigger size that were too big for his hands so we were able to swap them. I really hate to have to go through the return process.
The Ipsoot gloves proved to be what was needed. They are very warm and do a chance to free up finger tips for making camera adjustments in the cold. The fit was just right and were ordered based on the measurement guidelines given in the online listing for the gloves.
Being a frail old man whose fingers would get cold just opening the fridge door I needed some gloves that would prevent frostbite when getting the butter out. Have to say I'm impressed. I can now not only get the butter out of the fridge I can also venture into that arctic hell that is my freezer! And best of all my fingers stay toasty warm.
OK now onto the serious review. These gloves are warm, windproof and water resistant. They kept my fingers warm and the flip back Thumb & Index finger tips are brilliant for using the camera (or countless other tasks). The addition of the magnets do a great job of holding folded tips out of the way. Theres enough of an overhang in the material that when you have the finger tip covers closed the wind doesn't find its way through. So your fingers stay warm. All things considered these are the best gloves I've ever bought.

Please note, our gloves are designed to fit snuggly to give you the best camera feel without compromising on warmth. If you prefer a looser fit, please consider to go a size up.
As we learn more and more about gloves we also learn that all hands are different. Some people have long skinny fingers and slim wrists, others have wide hands with short fingers.
Our gloves wont fit all even with the right measurements from the sizing chart – but we try!
For many, the best option will be to go up a size if your measurements are in between sizes.
If you are between sizes or if your hands do not fit into the measurements on our sizing chart, we recommend prioritizing the fit for the girth measurement. The girth is the most important measurement and if the girth size on the glove is too small, you won't be able to fit the glove.
If you’re considering pairing a liner glove with your photography gloves, we recommend choosing the same size liner as photography glove. We designed our liners to be thin and fit inside of our photography gloves so we recommend your normal size in liners. There are two exceptions to this:
Exception #1: If you are at the very end of the ratio size in the sizing chart, e.g. 1 mm from being a size Large, then we advise going up a glove size if you plan to often wear the liner with the gloves.
Exception #2: If your personal preference is to wear fairly loose gloves, then you should also go up a size when adding a liner. We don't recommend this as you will compromise dexterity with loose gloves and our priority is best possible camera feel. But you know best what you like!
House tip: Make sure to choose a liner size that is snug/tight on your hand for the best Fliptech performance when wearing liners and gloves together.
